Created by Stephanie Weiner in 1990, the Original Pet Punkies were marketed from the V & A Waterfront and made their debut Expo appearance at “Flora 93” - where they took Cape Town and the export market by storm. Members of the cute “Pet Punkie Team” are seen perched on executive desks, in professional places, homemaker’s kitchens, teenager’s “dens”, pensioner’s pads and kid’s rooms galore.
